This is a blend of natural brown Corriedale-Border Collie down-rainbow dyed Tunis and firestar. The colors of the Tunis are: magenta, buttercup, pumpkin and blue bonnet. The firestar is the tropical color.

Lizzie's Lincoln Roving

Lizzie is a friend's ewe. Marilyn is an older lady that just won't give up her sheep-bless her heart! She can no longer handle square bales of hay so she feeds the large round bales. Unfortunately by doing this, more vm gets into the wool. I tried my best to get most of the vm out of this fiber, but there is still some in it that will fall out during spinning.

Cotswold Lamb Snip Roving 

This roving is a one of a kind! I cut several different handspun wool yarn scraps into about 1" pieces to add to this white cotswold lamb during processing. The results is white with splashes of color thru out the roving.

This fiber came from Teddie (romney), Carmen (angora goat) and Ash (alpaca). The colors are Teddie: seafoam green and soft pink, Carmen is natural silvery gray that spins dark brown and Ash is black. See our Animals page for their stories.

The shetland wool came from Old Girl while the cotswold came from another local flock owner. The colors are: Shetland is natural blck while the cotswold is rainbow dyed with: peach blossom, mauve and rose pink.

Jacob Roving 

This wool came from a neighbor. He is a dairy farmer that inherited this sheep. He still does not know where he came from-if he was dropped off or just plain escaped his former owners! He caught him and had him sheared. The shearer told him to bring the fleece to me and that I would know what to do with it! After spending literally hours working on getting the fleece clean, here it is all ready to be spun/felted or what ever you can think of. It is fairly soft with a nice staple to it.

Pin Drafted Roving

I sent this off to another processor to have something new for you to try! This is pin drafted roving. Very easy to spin thin! 

1) Sherino Roving - The colors used on this are: green and red. This matches #1 with the black tencel.

2) Confetti Roving - There is sherino, targhee and montadale in this roving. The colors used on this are: aubergine, green, pumpkin, fuschia and more.
